Eligibility Requirements

The Minnesota Insurance Hall of Fame was established to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the insurance, risk management, and actuarial science industry. We seek nominees who are widely recognized within the industry as leaders or innovators, and who have greatly contributed to the success of their businesses and their ability to serve the public.

The listed criteria serve as guidelines and are not exhaustive. The selection committee reserves the right to consider nominations that include other important factors, as deemed appropriate.

Nominators are strongly encouraged to provide supporting documentation that highlights the nominee’s qualifications, such as letters of support, published articles, and other relevant materials. The Hall of Fame Board members are available to offer guidance and assistance with the application process upon request.

To be eligible for consideration, nominees must:

  • Have made significant industry contributions
  • Exceptional lifetime accomplishments
  • Have a Minnesota connection
  • Serve as role model for others in the industry
  • Exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct
  • Have contributed to their community
