Building a Better Future

School of Engineering

Engineering at St. Thomas is in high demand among students and employers. As the fastest-growing college at St. Thomas and the only private engineering college in Minnesota, we're uniquely positioned to address a dangerous shortage of engineers in the upper midwest. We blend top-notch engineering skills with our signature liberal arts education to create a new breed of engineer capable of solving 21st century problems.

At the St. Thomas School of Engineering, we create engineers unlike any other. As the only private engineering college in Minnesota, we develop engineers who are masters of the latest technology and grounded in a mission-based liberal arts education. Our students aren't just problem solvers, they're critical thinkers who are building a better future, for the Common Good.

Did you know that engineers are in high demand but in short supply, in Minnesota and around the country? The School of Engineering is the fastest growing school at St. Thomas, and we are graduating engineers ready to enter the workforce and hit the ground running. We need your help to keep up with space and equipment to educate this critical group of Tommies.
