How can we help you?

Engagement Center

What is the Engagement Center?

We are a group of 50 St. Thomas students who call alumni, parents and friends of the university. This enthusiastic group of students is an extension of the St. Thomas Annual Giving team and works to raise funds and connect alumni with campus. We are looking forward to speaking with you!

We enjoy speaking with our Tommie Network and raising funds for university programs such as scholarships, academics, athletics, technology and the Annual Fund (to name a few). So as you can see, student communicators play a very important role in improving the St. Thomas experience for every student.

"One reason I love working at the Engagement Center is informing alumni about how they can still have an impact at St. Thomas! Getting to connect with them and hear their stories helps me learn more about St. Thomas and I also get to help them learn more about how to get involved."

Frequently Asked Questions

The University of St. Thomas wants to stay connected with our alumni. As an alum, you are our greatest advocate. We are calling to share the impact that you can have at the university.

Our student callers want to do three things on every call:

1. Update your contact information so that the University of St. Thomas can notify you about campus news, special alumni events and keep you connected.

2. Hear your St. Thomas experience, share a little of our own and listen to any advice you can share about classes or careers.

3. Ask for your participation in raising funds for scholarships and other critical campus initiatives.

All our callers are University of St. Thomas students.

Most calls last about 5-10 minutes.

The University of St. Thomas calls September through June in order to reach our over 110,000 Tommies in our Tommie Network. If we are unable to reach you or complete our call, your phone number may be called again within a few days. To complete your call, please take a few minutes to speak with the outgoing student who has contacted you.
