As the COVID-19 crisis unfolds, the university continues to have immediate and pressing financial needs.

Hardship Scholarships

Temporary or permanent loss of employment is causing many students’ sources of tuition dollars to decrease dramatically. Hardship scholarships will help students pay their tuition and stay on track for graduation.

Student Emergency Fund

This fund helps students who have major unexpected non-tuition expenses (i.e. rent and other housing costs, food insecurity, travel needs and other hardships) many of which are a result of lost employment during the virus outbreak.

Student Excellence Fund

A gift to this unrestricted fund allows university leadership important flexibility to maintain academic excellence by providing immediate support to the areas and people impacted most, for example, supporting the university’s shift to 100% online courses, virtual faculty office hours, and increased virtual access to health care and counseling.
