Erik Thurman

Erik Thurman joined the University of St. Thomas in 2016 as vice president of development and alumni relations.

Previously Erik was a vice president at the University of Minnesota Foundation leading principal giving and corporate and foundation relations. He held a leadership role in the university's $4 billion campaign. He also held leadership positions in medicine and health fundraising.

Before that, Erik worked at the University of Iowa Foundation during its $1 billion campaign.  Erik's responsibilities included major gift fundraising for the arts, medicine and health.

Erik received his BA from the University of Iowa.
