President's Leadership Giving Society
The President’s Leadership Giving Society recognizes donors who make exemplary annual gifts of $1,000 or more to the University of St. Thomas. The society’s seven giving circles, each named for a leader who played a vital role in shaping St. Thomas, acknowledge members’ significant investments in the university and their roles in making a transformative St. Thomas education possible. More than 951 households were members of the President's Leadership Giving Society in fiscal year 2023. Join them!
Finn Legacy Society
In the 1880s, William Finn and his wife, Elizabeth, through their estate plan, gave 160 acres of land to Archbishop John Ireland for a college. The College of St. Thomas was established on this land in 1885. Since then, the university has been blessed with bequests and other planned gifts from more than 800 benefactors following in the Finns' footsteps.
These gifts are essential to maintaining a strong endowment and the solid, long-term support that will ensure that St. Thomas will continue to educate students to be morally responsible leaders who think critically, act wisely and work skillfully to advance the common good.
When you include St. Thomas in your estate plans, you make a lasting investment in the future of the university. You might enjoy significant tax savings, too! With a future gift through your estate or an immediate gift that returns income to you or a family member, you will be recognized as a member of the Finn Legacy Society.
