Unlocking Student Potential Through Scholarships

Many promising students face financial barriers that prevent them from attending St. Thomas. Scholarships remove those barriers, giving students access to the full St. Thomas experience — where they can discover their purpose and reach their potential.

St. Thomas provides financial aid to 97% of undergraduate students. Yet, we do not have sufficient resources to meet the needs of all qualified students who want to become Tommies. Of students who do enroll, more than 35% have a financial gap to fill after grants, scholarships, work-study, and subsidized federal student loans. This gap often forces students to:

  • take on excessive loans
  • work extraordinarily long hours, jeopardizing academic success
  • delay graduation or withdraw from school

Your support for scholarships bridges this gap, ensures opportunity for capable, determined students from all backgrounds, and has an immediate impact on students' ability to attend St. Thomas and complete their degrees.

Be a Difference-Maker: Create a Scholarship

Our financial aid team has found that a scholarship of $10,000 per year is enough to make a difference for students to choose St. Thomas.

You can be a difference-maker with immediate impact by contributing to our general scholarship fund or by creating a named annual scholarship.

For lasting impact, create a named endowment that will provide support to promising Tommies for years to come.
