The Impact Project

The Impact Project is a student-led, peer-to-peer initiative. They are making change and they want you to be a part of it!

What is it?

The Impact Project promotes the awareness of areas in our community that need your support. The students that participate in this initiative believe in the impact we can all make at the University of St. Thomas and in the power of generosity.

The Impact Project works with different partners each year to help highlight an area at St. Thomas where we can all make a difference. For the 2018-19 academic year they are proud to collaborate with Great Lakes Northern Outfitters, a Minnesota company co-founded by St. Thomas alumnus David Burke ’13.

The proceeds from this year's partnership will be used to support the sustainability fund. This fund supports the University of St. Thomas's goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035. In 2008, then-President Father Dennis Dease signed the American College and University Presidents’ Climate Commitment. Since then, St. Thomas has reduced its carbon emissions by over 20 percent!
