A record-breaking year
On Nov. 4, 3,126 generous donors raised a record-breaking $4,321,096 to fuel scholarships and open even more doors to a transformative St. Thomas education.
The numbers we celebrate aren’t just records; they’re proof of the collective strength of the St. Thomas community. Students, staff, faculty, trustees, alumni, parents and friends came together to make a lasting impact. This achievement reflects the care and dedication that define our St. Thomas community.
Tommie Give Day on Nov. 4, 2025, was historic in multiple ways. It was the 11th anniversary of the university's day of giving, and support from 3,126 donors across the nation raised $4,321,096, a new record that crushed the 2024 record of $3.9 million.
Thanks to our Board of Trustees, the Tommie Parent Impact Challenge and other generous donors for their dollar-for-dollar match challenges, resulting in even more scholarship support for our students. We are also grateful to the alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students and friends who united to support scholarships and resources that empower the next generation of leaders who will continue to advance the common good.

Our community shattered records for dollars and number of donors.
Raised for our Tommies through Tommie Give Day in the past 11 years.
Engagement Center students received incoming calls and conducted personal outreach to encourage gifts.
The energy across campus was palpable, and gratitude was flowing. Each class from 1965 to 2025 recorded at least one gift, unlocking the Class-Year Challenge.
Board of Trustees members and other leadership donors generously contributed a record $1.8 million in match funds to encourage giving.
Although alumni were the most represented donor type, they were followed by parents/grandparents who helped achieve multiple Tommie Parent Impact Challenges.
Those who made gifts of $100 or more qualified for a paid of Tommie Choppers to keep or to gift, benefitting Catholic Charities Twin Cities. More nearly 300 mittens were gifted forward.
Learning about the importance of philanthropy, students were eager to support Tommie Give Day efforts and write notes of gratitude.
