Sean J. Brenckman Endowment for Varsity Men's Cross Country

The Sean J. Brenckman Endowment for Varsity Men’s Cross Country at St. Thomas was established on his birthday, March 7, and continues to be funded by his parents, Rae Ann and Kim Brenckman and their family and friends, for the express purpose of assisting young athletes in continuing their running careers and translating that success into the rest of their lives.

Sean was a student-athlete at St. Thomas from 2000-2004 and Cross Country Co-Captain his senior year. An avid outdoorsman, golfer, and runner, Sean loved being out in nature. He hiked 2,655 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail after college. His spontaneous spirit and sense of humor will always be remembered.

Funds raised through this effort help support the Men’s Varsity Cross Country program by offsetting expenses that are above and beyond the program operating budget.
