Since 2001, ThreeSixty Journalism has been a leading “career academy” for high school students from different backgrounds interested in journalism and storytelling through traditional and emerging media.
A program in the university’s College of Arts and Sciences, ThreeSixty Journalism brings high school students to St. Thomas’ St. Paul campus to learn the principles of strong writing and reporting to tell the stories of their lives and communities. ThreeSixty relies on philanthropic support to train the next generation of journalists and civic leaders.
When you make a gift to ThreeSixty Journalism, you’re supporting the future of media. ThreeSixty offers student experiences unique to St. Thomas, including a Capitol reporting workshop for budding journalists, summer and school year workshops and camps, and opportunities for young writers to have their work published through professional platforms.
ThreeSixty’s leadership ensures students from all backgrounds have access to high-quality programming. The Youth Leadership Board includes seven high school students with journalistic experience who help guide program strategy and curriculum and are resourced to lead editorial projects and participate in advanced learning opportunities.
