Office for Mission

Your gift fosters spiritual growth.

Dean Amy Smith shakes hands with Archbishop Bernard Hebda at The Mass of the Holy Spirit in Aquinas Chapel, officiated by Archbishop Hebda on September 5, 2024, in St. Paul.

The Office for Mission works to support and integrate the broad reach of the Catholic identity throughout the university as a whole. The office comprises Campus Ministry, the Center for the Common Good and numerous initiatives and campus collaborations that enrich university life, celebrate diverse faith traditions and foster spiritual growth. Your support has a critical impact on expanding our mission and Catholic identity.

The Office collaborates with groups across the university to help enrich university life with spirituality and a passion for advancing the common good. We celebrate diverse faith traditions and support each student, staff and faculty member's unique spiritual growth. The Office maintains a commitment to social justice and transformational community partnerships through prayer, education and community engagement on and off campus.

Why Your Gift Matters

When you give to the Office for Mission you help advance our mission and Catholic identity. Funds directed to the Office support campus ministry, community outreach initiatives and spiritual development for faculty, staff and students who are Catholic, exploring Catholicism or who see an affinity with their faith and the Catholic mission. Programming like the Chapel Arts Series, Pray It Forward and the Next Chapter Program uplift our communities and help spread our Catholic mission, conviction and heritage on campus and beyond.
