Center for the Common Good

Your generosity sparks compassion.

Students in the MGMT 394 Class volunteer with Nourish FoodShelf and Second Harvest Heartland at Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul on November 16, 2024.

Building community – all for the common good.

The Center for the Common Good, founded in 2017 as the university’s hub for fostering community partnerships, empowers students to engage through meaningful and impactful volunteer and service-learning experiences that advance the common good.

The Center connects students, faculty and staff with nonprofits, schools and government initiatives that help create solutions for communities in need – in our backyard and around the world alike. This mission-critical work happens through initiatives like Tommie Shelf, Tommies Together Volunteer Center, VISION trips and so much more.
