Steve Huls
I am thrilled to serve as the Director of Development for National Athletics. St. Thomas is on an exciting upward trajectory as a national brand, all while remaining true to its foundational mission.
Before coming to St. Thomas, I spent eight years at the University of Minnesota, focusing on major gift donors and alumni in the central U.S. I then took on a similar role at the University of South Dakota, working with donors in Minnesota and across the country.
My journey in higher education fundraising is complemented by my background as a student-athlete; I attended the University of Minnesota on a baseball scholarship and had the honor of being drafted by the Minnesota Twins, where I spent five years in their organization.
Outside of work, I'm passionate about outdoor activities and enjoy attending sporting events, especially to watch my two daughters compete in volleyball, basketball and softball. My wife is a proud MBA graduate of St. Thomas, making our connection to this wonderful institution even more special.
