Ben has spent the past four years with the University of Minnesota, first as the Director of the Annual Fund, and then as the Assistant Athletic Director of Annual Giving and Engagement. In this role he served as the point-person for the Golden Gopher Fund's annual fund, held a portfolio of major gift prospects, and oversaw all fundraising and special events.
He started his career at UW-River Falls as the Assistant Director of Recreation and Sport Facilities, then transitioned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he worked for six years as the Director of Guest Services initially, and then as the Director of External Engagement.
Ben earned his undergraduate degree from UW-La Crosse and earned a Master's in Sport Administration from Florida State University. Ben is originally from Falcon Heights, MN. He and his wife Danielle and their three children live in Stillwater.
