Supporting Students Through Hardship

COVID-19 Call to Action

Our students are facing immediate and pressing financial needs, especially for Hardship Scholarship support. Tommies always rally to support students, and they need you now more than ever.
Now more than ever, you can make a difference for students who have lost jobs, homes, and hope. Your gift – at any level – will help students continue to experience the transformative St. Thomas education we all know and love. Together we can make a great impact.

I rely on my three jobs to carry out my financial needs each month as a student. I may face eviction threats if I am not able to make my payments. Thank you to those who are working hard to provide students with relief during this time.

Give Now

I would be using this money to help pay for food. Currently for many meals I go out to get food somewhere before our family meal so I eat less to make sure others have enough. This money would allow me to get groceries so I wouldn’t have to eat secretly without my parents knowing.

Student Gratitude

Hundreds of students have already benefited from the generosity of our alumni and donors. Here are a few who wanted to express their gratitude and share how they're adjusting to the online student experience.
